First I made a simple template in Photoshop Elements. I grabbed scrap pieces of cardstock in Reese's Pieces colors, and asked the kids to rip them into small pieces. Then I spread a glue stick throughout the heard of my template. Both of the kids enjoyed putting the pieces onto the heart.
Combined with a mason jar of matching candies and a homemade label on top. And we have a very cute presentation for Daddy to come home to on his birthday.
